REDMAGIC has a long-standing track record of innovation and trendsetting, and 2025 was a big year for groundbreaking technology as a whole. To commemorate our achievements, we’ve listed out some of the major milestones we’ve overcome in the last year, looking back at grand launches, innovative designs, and industry-first explorations in the gaming industry. Now, let’s take a look at some of the top REDMAGIC moments that marked our 2025 as a success.
A Golden Age in Mobile Gaming
2025 marked the rounding up of our REDMAGIC 10 Series, starting strong in 2024 with the 10 Pro. In 2025, we waltzed into the year with style, hoisting up the stunning arrival of our 10 Pro Golden Saga. This luxurious and sophisticated addition joined the REDMAGIC Limited Edition Collection and promised to add a touch of opulence to our trusted 10 Pro model.
However, the Golden Saga proved to be more than just a pretty face, with each stellar addition serving a tangible purpose in the cooling, performance, and durability of the device. The device uses sapphire (α-Al2O3), a material favored by top watchmakers like Patek Philippe and Rolex, to add another layer of scratch resistance, while the phone’s carbon fiber battery surface elevates cooling.
Draped in precious metals and glimmering craftsmanship, the Golden Saga Limited Edition also marked a pioneering step in the industry as the first gaming smartphone ever to incorporate real gold and silver within its cooling system, allowing a silver alloy air duct enhanced with gold-plated vapor chamber fins ensures maximum heat dissipation.

Walking On Air
Next on the agenda, REDMAGIC moved towards a more accessible approach with the release of our REDMAGIC 10 Air. Designed as a lightweight and more affordable option in the 10 Series, the 10 Air is built with accessibility in mind that won't compromise on performance. The 6.8-inch, almost bezel-less display and 93.7% screen-to-body ratio are backed up by the dual powerhouse performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and our very own RedCore R3 and Energy Cube Technology enhancements. It also featured one of our loudest designs of the year, the REDMAGIC 10 Air Flare colorway, which was loved by many.
Putting the Pro in Place
Moving ahead in the line, 2025 also saw the launch of our REDMAGIC 10S Pro, the leading 10 Series model. Armed with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the 10S Pro uses an enhanced RedCore R3 Pro gaming chip to elevate agility and seamless processing power, for even the most demanding AAA games.
According to Android Central, the 10S Pro is a gaming phone without any notable shortcomings. Their glowing review of the phone states that it's ultimately “a beast of a gaming phone.” When it comes to performance, they state that the 10S Pro features the best internals of any device used yet, citing the impressive 144Hz AMOLED panel display, massive 7,050mAh battery, ultrasonic triggers, and clean software.
For the 10S Pro, you could easily compare its performance to the REDMAGIC 10 Pro and see how we’ve pushed the envelope a step further. The 10S Pro boasts 30% better CPU capabilities, a 30% GPU enhancement, and a 40% better NPU AI performance.
Astra-nomical Strides
Shifting away from smartphones for a moment, we’ve also added a newcomer to our gaming tablet range this year. After the Nova release in 2024, the world was ready for our trailblazing Astra gaming tablet. This pioneering powerhouse was designed to redefine what a gaming tablet is capable of, using the advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset along with optimized features and functions to deliver superior gaming experiences and seamless multitasking, all from a compact and stylish frame.
To ensure superior visuals, the Astra comes fitted with a state-of-the-art OLED display for richer colors, deeper blacks, and ultra-fast response times, effortlessly outdoing competitors who are still stuck with LCD screens. It also boasts our 13-layer ICE-X Cooling System along with the largest 8,200 mAh battery from a tablet in the 9-inch or smaller class. We designed the Astra to hit the ultimate sweet spot for tablet gaming. It’s not so massive that it becomes a burden to hold, yet it offers significantly more real estate than a phone. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
Liquid Cooling Innovation
After the Astra crash landed into our orbit, we set our sights on something new: the next generation of mobile phone cooling. To get there, we had to put our thinking caps on and decide on a new way to disrupt the industry. James Jiang, our product manager, was the brains behind the next industry-shaping innovation we had up our sleeves.
Looking into the concept of and demand for liquid cooling phone cases, Jiang amped things up a few notches and came up with the idea of a liquid-cooled gaming smartphone, and thus the REDMAGIC 11 Pro was born. By itself the 11 Pro is already a pioneering step in the mobile gaming market, yet its AquaCore Cooling System kept stealing away headlines with every review.
As the world’s first mass-produced flowing liquid-cooled smartphone, the 11 Pro was built to stay cool under pressure. The phone’s dual-track cooling system uses a specialized flowing fluorinated liquid to remove heat with a miniaturized piezoelectric ceramic pump pushing the server-grade liquid through visible channels. Micron-level laser cutting technology also ensures the pressure and flow of the liquid inside a durable and fully sealed system using the industry's first ultra-low-temperature bonding process and a new anti-puncture membrane.
The 11 Pro also boasts the industry’s fastest Turbo Fan and largest vapor chamber, along with our upgraded Liquid Metal 3.0 variant. Our liquid cooling system has also passed tens of thousands of drop tests, exceeding industry standards and ensuring real-world durability.
Groundbreaking Performance Benchmarks
In September 2025, Qualcomm launched its latest chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The long-awaited chipset promised to deliver enhanced performance and optimized features to amplify every experience. With our longstanding partnership, REDMAGIC was fortunate enough to be one of the first to test out the 8 Elite Gen 5 in our 11 Pro release.
The 8 Elite Gen 5 is the world’s fastest mobile system-on-a-chip and uses state-of-the-art performance, efficiency, and on-device AI processing to amplify mainstay experiences and debut breakthrough experiences. Along with that, the 11 Pro also made use of our REDMAGIC RedCore R4 gaming chip and Energy Cube 3.0 technology to elevate performance.
Tabitha Baker from Games Radar stated that the 11 Pro stormed the mobile gaming market with some of the highest benchmark scores she’d seen in a gaming phone to date. She concluded that the 11 Pro is the king of the castle and is a clear winner when it comes to performance.
