At REDMAGIC, we believe that power pushes you further and allows you to achieve more. This is why we place a lot of emphasis on the battery technology we offer our fans. Each generation of REDMAGIC gaming devices comes equipped with a more durable, expansive, and intelligent battery system that keeps you in the game for longer.
However, we also know that simple stats alone won’t be enough to convince the masses, which is why we like to put our designs to the test in real-life scenarios as well. With the year ending, we all look forward to getting enough things done beforehand or getting the right start to the new year. This means that we need endurance from the devices we rely on. Whether it's to get through the shopping list with ease, record your most cherished moments together, or survive family festivities by playing a few rounds of your favorite games.
In this blog article, we’ll be looking at some of the battery testing done with the REDMAGIC 11 Pro to see how it performs across a variety of circumstances and testing parameters. We’ll be using these reviews and results to gauge how the 11 Pro’s battery fares with all the expected tasks you might encounter, from social media and browsing the internet to intensive gaming and power-hungry configurations. For now, let’s look at what the 11 Pro has to offer generally when it comes to battery life.
Now, the REDMAGIC 11 Pro already has a stellar list of specs, from the world’s fastest and latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset to its innovative, ground-breaking liquid-cooler AquaCore cooling system. However, this supernova gaming powerhouse pulls no punches when it comes to battery power either. The 11 Pro comes equipped with a massive 7,500mAh battery, giving it a 450mAh over its older sister, the 10S Pro.

This much larger battery capacity allows the 11 Pro to maintain effortless and extended endurance, without changing the compact size you’re used to. Our fans can easily get up to 34.1 hours of daily use, 267 hours on standby, and 7.4 hours of Genshin Impact gaming at full frame rate. Our testing also showed that you could livestream on YouTube at maximum brightness and volume at 1080p for up to 12.5 hours.
The 11 Pro is also our first gaming smartphone fitted with 80W wired and wireless charging, along with two-way reverse charging to keep you powered up and ready to go in every situation. With our wireless charging feature, you can get a full battery in just 68 minutes.
Our new smart charging design also supports charging separation, allowing you to power the device directly from the source without affecting the battery during long and power-intensive usage sessions. This prevents heat build-up and battery damage, extending the battery and device’s overall longevity and lifespan. Now, let’s get into the nitty-gritty of the actual 11 Pro battery stress test.
Now, it’s important to remember that the 11 Pro is not only meant for gaming alone and can be used as a daily driver as well. This means that it should be able to keep up with a normal day of usage without breaking too much of a sweat. Over the past few weeks, reviewers have put the flagship phone through several tests to see how it compares and performs in most tasks. Let’s take a look at some of the main battery test results from the 11 Pro we’ve seen so far.
The REDMAGIC 11 Pro has already caused quite a stir across the industry and is likely to continue its impressive streak. When it comes to battery power, the 11 Pro holds no prisoners, pushing its enormous 7,500mAh battery capacity to the limit for flawless speeds, reliable power, and relentless performance.
GSM Arena was one of the major media sources to review the 11 Pro once it became available. The publication began to use an optimized Battery Life Test in 2023 that measures four active use situations, including a call test, web browsing test, video streaming test, and gaming test.
This combination results in their Active Use Score, which is an estimate of how long the battery will last if you use the device with a mix of all four activities. Testing begins at 100%, with peak brightness, location, and Wi-Fi all activated.

From their results, GSM Arena described the 11 Pro’s battery as expectedly solid with an Active Use Score of 20:02 hours, which is impressive with long web browsing sessions and video playback runtimes.
Phone Arena got a good kick out of the 11 Pro as it “unsurprisingly” topped their battery benchmark tests quite effortlessly, becoming “the reigning battery champion,” and ranking as number 2 in the lineup of the phones they’ve tested in the past 2 years. Their results showed that the Battery Life Estimate of the 11 Pro stood at 10 hours and 43 minutes, while the average battery life estimate is around 7 hours and 21 minutes. When it came to browsing, the 11 Pro lasted 25 hours and 55 minutes, well above the average of 17 hours and 31 minutes.

For Android Central, the 11 Pro seamlessly lasted a day and a half without breaking a sweat. The reviewer got the device to last up to two days with medium use and was impressed that it took just under an hour to charge the sizable battery thanks to the bundled 80W charger.
Jon Mundy for Tech Radar maintained that we’ve always fitted our devices with “meaty batteries,” and gave the battery life of the 11 Pro a solid 5 out of 5 ranking. He went on to state that the device offers an “impressive level of stamina, getting you through two days of normal usage with ample room to spare.” He further noted that the 11 Pro was obviously built to stand up to sterner tasks – gaming in particular – and will get you through a full day even with an hour or two of Genshin Impact mixed in.
When reviewing the 11 Pro, Tech Spurt made specific mention of the large battery, which he saw as a truly welcome change that allowed him to enjoy just over 5 hours of Wuthering Waves action on the highest possible graphics settings, in Rise mode, and with the fans and liquid cooling switched on and maxed out.

When playing Call of Duty, he also found that the game ran flawlessly for a full 8 to 9 hours with everything again maxed out, using the top possible graphics settings and configurations. He further noted that if you wanted to use the 11 Pro as a daily phone, you could easily get a full weekend of use out of the device on a single charge. However, if you’re more into gaming, you could also make use of the charge separation feature to power up the 11 Pro indefinitely so you can “keep on gaming until basically your thumbs fall off.”
Phone Arena also noted that you'd be hard-pressed to drain the battery in one day and would “need to play games for more than 12 hours straight to do that,” further stating that if you use the phone more modestly, you'd easily get two full days of usage on a single charge. In their tests, the phone easily lasted 14 hours and 14 minutes during gaming, while the average time stood at around 10 hours and 14 minutes.
Another great test of endurance is the regular media consumption we do daily. Whether it’s the YouTube video you load up while you have lunch or the time you spend scrolling through TikTok, media streaming can take up a substantial chunk of battery life.
For Games Radar+, the “massive battery capacity translates to just over two full days of casual use on a single charge,” with regular usage, which meant a battery percentage that was “mostly locked, save for the odd YouTube video, podcast, half an hour to an hour of gaming, emails, WhatsApp, and social scrolling.”
Esat Dedezade for Stuff.tv noted in his review that the 11 Pro allows you to game intensively for hours while still having enough power for a full day of normal use. In his testing, he used a mix of gaming, media streaming, photography, browsing, and general use, and consistently achieved two days of optimal usage between charges. He went on to state that even during “deliberately punishing gaming sessions with the cooling system running and all features enabled,” the battery still saw him through till the end of the day without any fuss.
The REDMAGIC 11 Pro was built to stand out and upgrade the superior gaming experience that we’ve come to maintain at REDMAGIC. With an intelligent battery design and optimized charging power, the 11 Pro has easily become a powerhouse gaming smartphone capable of every task. After several gaming, performance, browsing, and social media scrolling tests, the 11 Pro comes out on top in terms of battery life, providing durable, lasting, and resilient power that will keep you winning for longer.
