The Leading Version of the chipset propelled the 8S Pro’s performance, elevating GPU and CPU speeds beyond what the REDMAGIC 8 Pro offered.

In true REDMAGIC fashion, we’ve once again pushed the boundaries of performance, this time with the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version chipset. A Little Improvement Goes a Long Way
You might wonder how this version of the chipset differs from the one inside the REDMAGIC 9 Pro. From what we know about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, also known as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version or Overclocked Version, the Cortex-X4 sees a boost from 3.30 GHz on the regular version to a 3.4GHz CPU clock speed on the improved version.
This seemingly modest enhancement translates to significant performance gains. According to Geekbench 6 results, this upgrade enables the enhanced chipset to achieve single-core and multi-core scores of 2319 and 7215 respectively, showcasing its superior computational prowess.

The GPU in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version, the Adreno 750, is clocked at 1.0 GHz, as reported by Notebookcheck.
