The Nubia RedMagic 6S Pro is all about gaming on the spec sheet and in its looks. The smartphone is powered by the cutting-edge Snapdragon 888+ with at least 12 GB of working memory. All models feature fan-assisted cooling, which is supposed to ensure stable frame rates. Furthermore, the manufacturer provides an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a scan rate of 720 Hz. There are also two shoulder buttons on the long edge and an additional sensor button on the back to control games even more efficiently and quickly.
The RedMagic 6S Pro starts at 599 Euros (~$696) with 12 GB RAM as well as 128 GB internal storage. For 100 Euros (~$116) more, 16 or 256 GB are integrated and those who pay 729 Euros (~$847) get the Ghost variant with a transparent back and illuminated fan.
The RedMagic 6S Pro is equipped with the fastest SoC from Qualcomm: the Snapdragon 888 Plus, which is supported by 12 GB LPDDR5 working memory. For the graphics calculations, an Adreno 660 is responsible. Compared with the Snapdragon 888 the new Plus model is only a small upgrade. The clock frequency of the CPU's prime core has been increased to 3.0 GHz and the Hexagon 780 DSP chip in particular has experienced a strong performance increase.
