The Red Magic 7 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and runs Android 12-based RedMagic OS 5.0 out of the box. It also comes with a dedicated gaming chip called Red Core 1 to handle audio, RGB lighting, and haptic feedback, allowing the Qualcomm silicon to focus on more important tasks.
The Red Magic 7 Pro gaming smartphone is built around a 6.8" FullHD+ AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and 960Hz touch sampling rate. The panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and has a fingerprint reader underneath for biometric authentication. It also has an under-display 16MP selfie camera, offering an unobstructed visual experience not possible with displays having notches and punch holes.
The Red Magic 7 Pro 64MP primary camera is located in the center of the rear panel, joined by 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro units. Fueling the entire package is a 5,000 mAh battery charged through a USB-C port. However, it's worth mentioning that unlike the Chinese version that supports 135W charging, the global model only goes up to 65W.
